After restarting the Autopsy issue resolve to see missing data. But when attempted Lab Quiz answer was wrong and subsequent retake results shows all the answers as wrong for the question mentioned below:
How many USB devices (non-VMWare or non Hub) were attached to the system?
NOTE: Select ‘0’ if none are showing up on your Linux system using Autopsy 4.14.
Does anyone face the problem in recent version of Quiz?
Yes, I clearly see one USB device being marked as Flash Drive, Alcor Micro, and one PNY but with just product code. For me, answer should be 2. But also, scanning with the Recent Activity module came up with an error. I’ve checked downloaded files at the beginning of the course to see if checksums match, and they do. SSD in my laptop is good, checked a day before course - so no problems should be there.
Something’s amiss there. Fortunately, I can continue the course.
Unfortunately, this question requires a little Windows Registry know-how to fully understand. But for the purposes of the question, you can sort on the Device make column by clicking on the column heading. This makes it easier to see the devices that are not hubs (internal usb interfaces) and not Virtual devices, i.e., VMware.
I followed the steps while giving answer for particular question but looks like due to some mis-configuration none of the option give correct answer.
guys please read the questions
“select all that apply” hint is in the question :).
