I downloaded the open source plugins and extracted them to the plugin director as it explains. I am on version 4.19.3 and the plugins are in the …\python_modules directory with no luck. The never show up in the plugin gui installed. Help would be great.
- Check that you’re in the right folder. In the Autopsy UI, go to Tools-Python Plugins and make sure that’s where your files are
- Make sure each plugin is in a subfolder of that folder - Autopsy won’t find .py files that are in the base python_modules folder
