I just created a Windows 10 virtual machine for a class that I am teaching and the .vmdk file will not load for ingestion into Autopsy. I just tried an older Kali Linux vmdk file and that works fine. When I try to load the Windows 10 vmdk, I get an error which says that it can’t see what type of file system is on the vmdk. Any idea how to solve this?
How was the VMDK file created?
