There’s a lot in this thread, but we’ve seen two issues people have come across with respect to the USB devices:

  1. On some Linux systems, RegRipper can’t run and doesn’t find all of its dependencies. So, Autopsy never gets the USB devices. This is fixed in the 4.15 release (coming out this week).

  2. On some Windows systems, there is a refresh problem and the USB devices are in the database, but not shown in the UI. We are looking into this. Opening and closing the case will solve this.
