Section 8 Lecture Video Not Playing

I can’t play the Section 8 Lecture video. All other videos work, apart from this one, and I can’t progress with the course until I finish the module.

Thank you for your interest in Autopsy Training.

It is very strange that the other videos work, but only one does not. Is your browser/endpoint/network blocking something? Try using a different browser, different device, and different network. The course content all comes from the same source, so if one thing is getting blocked, they should all be blocked.

You may also have missed something in Section 7, please go back and ensure everything in Section 7 is fully completed, and marked complete. You can also try marking each module in Section 7 Incomplete, then Complete again.

We do know that there are some issues with some web browsers, in Section 0, but have not seen that issue anywhere else. (Below is the text from Section 0, to see if that may help)

NOTE: We’ve had sporadic reports of issues with some students completing this video, but not getting credit for it. We have not been able to replicate the issue, but it appears that you may encounter this issue if you are using Brave browser and/or Firefox with privacy/security plugins. If you have this issue, please attempt this section using another web browser, and ensure that no settings, such as endpoint security and/or network connectivity, are causing the issue. Thanks!

I left it a few hours and it started working again, don’t really know what was happening.
