Hi, I am trying to recover the information and files (photos…etc.) from my phone. I accidentally erased (factory reset) without saving many photos that I have lost. The problem is that when I try to start the project as “local disk” the phone does not appear as a drive and I cannot access it. It’s a Samsung Galaxyu s21 FE, and I can’t see it as a unit from the program.
I have the same problem on a samsung s10. I’ve looked in many places but haven’t found a solution yet.
Can you see any files/file system in Windows explorer from the phone. If not then Autopsy will not be able to see it either.
