Hi, Can some one guide me on how we can create image of a mobile device using autopsy tool?
Hello @Amanmrfox. Unfortunately Autopsy doesn’t have the ability to create images of a mobile device albeit it does have the ability to analyze an image of one if you’ve created an image using another tool. Note: Whether it be an Android or iOS based device, if the mobile device is password protected, you’re likely going to have to look into a commercial tool to acquire the image.
If you are just looking at testing Autopsy against some mobile devices I’d recommend checking out Simson’s images on Digital Corpora (Cell Phones – Digital Corpora ) as well as Alexis’s ILEAPP and ALEAPP tools for parsing as well.
