In the context of ext4 deleted file recovery, I observed that using ‘jls’ and ‘jact’ together successfully we are able to recover a deleted file. However, Autopsy, which is capable of listing deleted files, seems to be unable to recover the deleted file. What could explain this discrepancy in recovery capabilities?
