Hi, first post, i’m not familiar with this type of software, i’m a hobbyst electronics repairer, i am repairing an lcd flat tv by Sharp, i have downloaded sleuth kit for windows, the autopsy is too heavy to download and store for now , i am trying to extract from the firmware the yaffs2 partitions, i have to process them to fix file sustem problems, i don’t know if and how is possible to do it using the kit, or if needed, autopsy, can i know which is the procedure? Thanks a lot…
i have to isolate start and end of partitions so i can extract them and pass to yaffey software that is able to read write files. thanks.

i found that one nand dump must be preprocessed before to make it readable, must eliminate formatting areas at end of blocks, i found only two small python utilities good only for few nand brands, it would be useful something more…
