# Install on Linux (debian 10 buster)

I’ve downloaded all the files and installed the testdisk and bellsoft-java8-full. And installed sleuthkit-java\_4.7.0-1\_amd64.deb as well … (but this part on the tutorial said to install it with APT command, but in debian, DPKG files shold be installed with the DPKG command… as so, I did it)  
I’ve set the java variable and run the autopsy script file.  
it worked !!!  
BUT  
when I try to open the autopsy it opens but all blank and when I try to open TOOLS-\>OPTIONS to configure the SQLite things and stuff it only show 4 tabs (GENERAL, KEYMAP, APPEREANCE and MISCELLNEOUS [I tryed to translate it, since its in portuguese])  
what to do now ?

INFO’S:  
Linux Debian 10 Buster (clean install on USB DRIVE)

$ java -version  
openjdk version “1.8.0\_252”  
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0\_252-b09)  
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.252-b09, mixed mode)

If more info is needed, just ask for it and I shall provide !  
I need help ASAP because I can’t proceed anymore if it doesn’t run properly!

install full\_java\* the same issue was happened with me !

What version of Autopsy? VM? You are installing on USB drive?
