Hi, Version: (autopsy v4.20.0) I use: [https://adoptium.net/](https://adoptium.net/) (OpenJDK17U-jdk\_x64\_windows\_hotspot\_17.0.6\_10) i get a message that java was not found: [https://i.imgur.com/ykNQpPm.png](https://i.imgur.com/ykNQpPm.png) I have tried setting various environment variables but with no success. Try installing Java 1.8 and see if that fixes your problem. ---

I don’t want to install Java that is dangerous or has a problematic license agreement. The problem is in the application that it cannot use another version of java, I’m trying to figure out why this is so. Please fix the app Autopsy or tell me the specific reason for this error. Thanks.
