# Extract metadata without running keyword indexing

Hi

I would like to extract metadata from office files, etc, which is done with the keyword ingest module, but I don’t need to do the actual keyword indexing. Is possible to do just the metadata extraction ? The indexing part takes a lot of time, if possible I would like to skip that.
