# autopsy/sleuth kit home windows noob questions

when analyzing an image do you have to convert vmdk documents to raw ? noticed hwo to do it however because it take it no longer sure what the most reliable manner is. i delivered a raw image and it most effective sees the boot quantity not the rest

additionally i delivered encase hashset and nist rl set, i decided on known for all three (encase is cut up in ) while and how will begin to index the hash tables ? it states “ingest is ongoing” will it handiest index the hashtables as soon as all the models finish running on the photo i introduced as a information supply ?
