# adb android backup format

In what format do you need to import a logical backup of android made with adb? The backup made in this way has the extension .ab, it is not in the formats supported by autopsy, even if I extract it in .tar the .tar does not seem to me also this among the supported formats, in which format should a backup of this type made with adb be added ?
