# About the Autopsy Help category

Used for questions about using Autopsy. The [User Guide](http://sleuthkit.org/autopsy/docs/user-docs/) can be found online.

In your post, please include your platform (Windows, Linux, or macOS) and Autopsy version (4.x). Please also include any relevant log messages or screen shots of the UI/errors.

Note that Linux and macOS is not as widely supported as Windows and many of the challenges come from different versions of Java on different platforms.
